and you're rich for the rest of your life without ever having to work another single day.  You'll end up making a minimum of $10-15 million by the time the school is done paying off the contract.  I'd take whatever criticism comes with the job for the few years you're in it if you suck in order to have a sweetheart deal like that.  Who wouldn't?

I used to enjoy the college football season.  I haven't enjoyed one since 2012 and even that was ultimately dissapointing.

Foley and Muschamp have just sucked the life out of Florida football for me.  Watching college football is depressing because we are so inept compared to other teams it is unbelievable.  How somebody could watch Marshall play and then watch the Gators play and think they wouldn't want Doc Hollday is crazy. They are a much better coached team than we are, and obviously ranked higher and well regarded.  To think he's not qualified makes no sense.

There are others I'd be fine with too. Would love Freeze but I just don't think he wants to come.  I think Hudspeth is a good coach but just not sure he's ready for the jump. Too risky probably.  I'm sure some crazy names will start getting floated around soon, although I guess many already have.  I'd offer Kelly $8 million a year and maybe Harbaugh that too, but I can't see Foley doing that, even if those coaches did want to come.  But I would throw crazy money out there to see if some big name steps out for it. $8 million is a lot of cash and that along with the high profile of the job will attract major attention.

There is no joy in Mudvile. Mighty Muschamp has struck out too many times.  I welcome a merciful end to this season. Ugh.
