2013 was a train wreck. I left the Ga. Southern game thinking there was a good chance Muschamp could be out that week. But we had a boatload of injuries and just awful luck last year.

By the way, the procession of us fans leaving the Swamp after Ga. Southern was unlike anything I ever witnessed at the Swamp. Silent march by the fans out of the stadium. I didn't hear anyone complaining or calling for heads to roll. Stunned silent walk out and down 2nd Ave to my car down by the law school. No.One.Said. Anything.

I really believed, as did Muschamp, that 2014 would be different. Even after the Bama game, I was like, "Well, it's Bama. At Bama. They've been pretty damn good for a while."

For me, LSU and Mizzou is when I realized this ship has sailed. If we couldn't make plays to beat LSU at home, then when would we? If we couldn't beat a Mizzou team that lost by 30 to a Gurly-less UGA, then when could we?

I'd like to say I saw this coming since the 2nd game of last year. And I'd like even more to say I was wrong if I did see it coming then.

But the fact is that it is what it is.

We're not good. We're not getting better. Will's not gotten it done. I'd love to see these Gators win out the rest of the year and be able to say "I was wrong in October 2014."

But I just don't see it happening.
