Message Replied To ========== A Crazy kind of win... now that I've recovered from the game and post-game eating/drinking fest, I can reflect on what I saw in the game. A once in a lifetime performance watching 2 Rbs near 200 yards. A UGA team that clearly seemed overrated. Does Gurley make them a top 10 team. While I expected to see Treon throw more, can't argue with sticking to the run when they were helpless to stop us. The one play that stands out to me was the pass to Pittman down to the 1 yard line. We have been in that situation with Driskel and never seemed to get a TD. We fought hard and earned that win big-time. It was nice to see Matt and Kelvin split time, we should have been doing that all season. Going forward this season, I wonder how they will have any passing game now that we won a big game on the ground, which I think will just make Muschamp more stubborn sticking with the run. The D seemed more energized have the O hold the ball on a few drives. Finally, I don't know how to read Foley's on-field exuberance. I kind of find it odd, how he has played the Muschamp situation so close to the vest, yet so openly congratulates and celebrates with him after a rare big win. I sure hope it isn't some indication that this win somehow vindicates his decision to stick with Muschamp this season, and maybe beyond. ============================== Good grief. |
