Message Replied To ========== I could see Foley hanging on to Muschamp with a win over USCe and a loss to FSU. That puts us at 7-4 (and a potential 7-5 season). Very tough position for Foley, as the only good win would've been UGA. That's not much to hang the future on. The VS has become like a momentum stock trader. After Missouri, it was unanimous the Muschamp had to go. One unexpected victory over UGA later, and there's lots of talk about beating FSU. You know the old saying, if if's and but's were candy and nuts, the VS posters would be big fat mo fo's! ==============================against UGA and FSU after FOUR years, with no titles and UF ending the year outside of all the major polls. That is a record that SHOULD get ANY coach fired at UF. Not just that, but Hung is right...our 50th ranked recruiting class will continue to suck. Sure, he'll bring in 1 or 2 good players, but not enough to keep us competitive with the better programs in our league. Sure, I can see a scenario where Foley WANTS to keep Will after 7-4...but I am giving Foley more credit than that. He is smart enough to see what must be done. |
