I can believe that there are some fans who are actually rooting against Florida, believing that is what is best, long term, for the program.

And honestly, they may be right.

I say that only because I have no doubt that keeping Will Muschamp for another season does nothing but kick the can further down the road. His record at UF speaks for itself, and it speaks to someone who is incapable of directing Florida successfully.

But here we are and I can see WHY some "fans" want us to lose, I just can't bring myself to join their rank.

Not just that, but IF Will Muschamp wins out this season, then I support the position that he SHOULD be kept. Finishing out the season THAT strong will provide the program with a positive trajection.

And it is that type of unmistakable and tremendously positive progress that is needed to change the narrative.

ANYTHING less and Will will be incapable of changing his fate at UF, no matter how much Foley and some fans want him to work out. The reason why I believe that is due to the restraints that will limit his recruiting. Keep in mind that Muschamp has ENOUGH question marks surrounding his ability to evaluate and close on top talent, the last thing he needs is the sword of Damocles dangling over his dome.

With all of that said, Muschamp has a real chance at flipping the script. UGA was the start. Harris' performance against Vandy continued to fan the flames of hope. UF is favored against USCE...and has them at home.

IF we can win this week, Will only needs two more to extinguish the dumpster fire.

Stranger things have happened.

If we beat USC(e) and EKY, we're riding a 4 game win streak into Tally.

Let's see how we do against SOW. From what I've seen, SOW is very beatable this year. Hell, scUM is only a 2.5 underdog this weekend.

Still plenty of ball left to be played.

I wish we could defer this conversation until November 30.

That's what JF is willing to do, and that's good enough for me.
