So I have a degree from UNC.  I have more degrees than a thermometer.   I'm a Gator first always, I have undergrad and MBA degrees from UF.  So not even a close call, you always pull for your undergrad alma mater first or you are a loser.  But I really loved my time at UNC as a grad student.  I was proud to go to such a great school.  Much of what I have accomplished in life, I have to credit to my degree from UNC (I'm a professor, and my Ph.D. is from UNC).  It opened doors and prepared me to be successful. 

So this is so embarrassing, really awful.  I had a great experience at UNC and got a great education.  I have some lifelong friends from my time there.  But this whole thing is disgusting and beyond belief.  How could one of the best public universities in the country allow this to happen over an extended period of time? It makes me sick to my stomach.  No excuses, they obviously knew about this and allowed it to expand over time.  Really sad.
