          A few hours later: "He grew up a Gator just like me. I'm okay with this." 

2011:  During the season: "This is not working out." 

          After the Gator Bowl win.: "We looked like a team. Maybe this is coming together." 

2012: After the LSU game: "Wow, we are a tough team."

          After the Missouri game: "Maybe we are just lucky. I'm not sure this guy can coach."

          After the Louisiana-Monroe game: "We are just lucky." 

          After the FSU game: "Damn! We really are good!"

          After the Sugar Bowl loss: "We embarrassed UF. Maybe it was was luck." 

2013:  Preseason: "This year will indicate whether he can actually coach"  

          During the the early losses: "Maybe he can't." 

          After the Missouri loss: "Fire him today."

          After the Vanderbilt and Georgia Southern losses: "I told you to fire him." 

          At the end of the season: "Maybe it was injuries. Nobody available. Give him next year."

2014: Preseason: "We are the sleeper to win the SEC East." 

          After the Kentucky game: "But the Cats are a team on the rise. They often give us fits." 

          After the Alabama game: "That didn't look nearly as bad in person." 

          After the LSU loss: "Third and 25?!!! Third and 25?!!!" 

          After the Missouri game: "I told you to fire him after this game last year."

          After the Georgia game: "We found out how to win. Run the table, and he can stay."

          After the Vanderbilt game: "We might win the East and beat FSU."

          After the South Carolina game: "I was right after the Missouri games. He has to go."

          After he stepped down today: "That had to be done. But I don't feel so good right now."
