As for how to recognize SOS more, naming the field after him would be fitting once SOS retires from coaching.

And I think the basketball court across the street should be named for Billy Donovan.

The point is that the coaches of the major revenue sports can lift an entire athletic program.

The genius of Jeremy Foley, and this is what makes him special, is that he has the vision and commitment to ensure that the successes of the "money programs" extends to excellence across the board in all sports. Look at some of the other big football schools. Are they any where near as great across all sports as Florida? No. And No athletic director in history has overseen and promoted excellence across the board as well as Foley.==============================

If he wanted to be the greatest Gator of all time, he had it without challenge forever.  Then he chose to give it away.  His choice, his life, good for him.  He just lost all "special" treatment opportunities.  He's just another mercenary coach who happened to come to UF along the way.
