....and take on a life of their own with little or no factual basis.  Some are rants that fit the ranter's biases.  Some are rants based on what the ranter already knows is incomplete information, but they don't know just how incomplete that info is.  Some are very understandable (again, based on limited information).  Some are even correct because the ranter DOES have complete information.  The latter are extremely rare. Maybe even non-existent. 

Everyone wants to believe they have some sort of exclusive insight (and all the pay boards feed off of this).  The vast majority of the time, they don't.  They might have special insight on a narrow item, but it's a mistake for the person with insight and access on that one thing to assume it applies to everything. But that's human nature I guess.  

The bottom line is to take it all with several grains of salt.  And don't equate repetition and volume with accuracy.
