though that is part of it.  The trying to go cheap on hiring football coaches....oh UF can't hire this guy because his character isn't up to our lofty standards.  UF isn't going to get into an arms race.  UF isn't going to splash out for a swanky IPF etc etc. 

None of our competitors seem to exhibit such reservations as we impose on ourselves....and no claims of valuing minor sports more or "having more class" don't cut it.  Show me somebody who claims he has more class and I'll show you somebody who just lost a ballgame.

2008 -$26 million raised for football offices now known as the Heaverer Football Complex.

I looked at other information, and UF has dropped nearly $90 million in the last 10 years on football.

Approval to proceed on $1.75 million worth of architectural plans to expand the Office of Student Life.

$450,000 allocated to repair the turf and irrigation system on the football practice fields.

Add $45 million to The ODome coming up.

Oh, and the other dough purportedly going to other lesser sports? Lacrosse stadium? $15 MILLION all from private donors to build that place. UAA paid zilch

So where is UF lacking in its facilities? I want SPECIFICS
