1.  The game.  Where to start?  We made some incredibly athletic plays on defense, and.....ah, the heck with it.  Frustrating, and I feel bad for the kids because they left it all on the field.

2.  It's amazing what kind of difference a few key players make.  O'Leary and Cook saved FSU's bacon. Amari Cooper saved Bama's.  X-factors.  We've had those too (Tebow, Harvin etc etc), and we will have them again.

3.  Speaking of the Iron Bowl, Gus may need to rethink his go-go-go approach.  It works great against inferior teams.  I'm not so sure that's the case against a tean with equal or superior talent.  The announcers said last night that Bama wore Auburn out late.  I'm not sure that's true. I think Auburn may have worn Auburn out late.

4.  Speaking of Bama, I thought prior to yesterday that Mizzou might give them some unexpected difficulty.  Well, barring a complete letdown by Bama (which I don't think Saban will let happen), Mizzou is going to get schooled.  The SEC East remains wide open next year, which certainly helps the possibility of a quick turn around for us.

5.  Hiring a new coach.....there is no such thing as a slam dunk.  There are choices that are more "slam-dunkish" than others, but coaching at this level is something many aspire to do and very few are able to do.  It takes such a unique skill set, and it's rare.
