In fact, at the end of last season, I and most here agreed that had he been fired we would have understood and supported that decision. But he wasn't fired, and most here moved on and were willing to support /hope for the best and not continually gripe about the fact it wasn't done last year. With one notable exception.

 For what it's worth, you could make an argument that even though Muschamp did not work out, it still would have been wrong to fire him after last season because of the message it would send about our program -- the consensus would have been that we pulled the trigger too soon on WM because of the injuries and things outside his control -- we didn't give him enough of a chance. I know Hung and others will disagree that public/media perception SHOULD be factor in the decision, but in my opinion it is a factor with JF because he always strives to do things "the right way" and firing WM after that one horrible season would not have been fair to WM. I may be wrong about that opinion, but I suspect it is close to the mark.
