Seriously, I know they all believe they're going to the NFL. The point I am about to make still applies to all but NFL HOF players, imo. It obviously applies even more to guys who are anything less than NFL stars for 2 contracts.
When choosing a college, the kids are also choosing a region / location in which they will make business and social contacts that remain the rest of their lives. Where does a person want to make these crucial contacts? In western South Carolina or in Florida, with the Gator fan base? To a kid from Florida, this should be a no-brainer -- unless of course he wants to sell gas! ;-) |
