Unlike their US born predecessors, they don't give me attitude, they don't fight among themselves, they don't show up to work hungover or drunk. They all hit the performance marks I set for them within 6 months...something their predecessors weren't able to do after years...and so they are all making MORE than what I paid their predecessors. They are all from different backgrounds and ethnic groups. Most immigrants come here for opportunity and, when they get it, they work at it. Many "Americans" just seem to have a sense of entitlement nowadays. As an employer, I PREFER immigrants if possible, as long as they are here legally and are qualified. |
