Well, let me qualify that statement, we are desperate THIS year and with THIS class. We are offering kids who UF would never otherwise offer. Kids who were no where near our radar earlier in the year. Pretending that this is not the case is just that...pretending.

McElwain walked into a very difficult recruiting scenario this year, one FAR more difficult than Muschamp, Meyer, and Zook before him. I don't know who the dominoes will fall on Wednesday, but they may not fall in our direction.

And right now, signs are not good. The mediots across the college football landscape are all talking about how bad things are for us with this class. They aren't wrong.

We may finish strong, but we may falter. Either way, this is a unique situation that should not be repeated.

If we are sitting around 80 in the rankings at this point next year...then let's bitch and moan about our coaches. But my bet is that we won't be anywhere near that spot; my bet is that this year is an anomaly.

negative about the Gators. It smacks of insecurity if anything. I don't care if a person is negative or pumping sunshine, but it does bother me when they make snide remarks about someone. That's just mean-spirited and makes me question their character more so than someone who is habitually negative.
