"Today I woke up to a kiss and a hug from a friend." |

I don't mean the "real" ones, but rather simply a text message that said "XO" and nothing more. But those 2 simple letters let me know that someone was thinking about me today. 16 years ago today, my wife passed at just 36 after battling leukemia for the better part of a year. I am blessed now with a wonderful wife, who, though she never met my first wife, honors her and thanks her for making me the person I am today. Let go of petty grudges, say "I love you", say "I'm sorry", or say whatever is in your heart, because you never know what tomorrow brings. |
