"What we need to sign next year/what the state has next year" |
|
the state is loaded at WR (about SIX OR SEVEN of them!) and DE next year. The OL crop looks OK. There are a couple QBs who will be highly rated. The LB class doesn't look as stocked as WR or DE. We need 1 stud QB We need 1 stud Tailback 1 Fullback would be good IMO 4 Offensive Linemen is what we should sign (we have 12 and lose 1 ergo +3 gets us to 15 and since we have no Junior OL we will lose none next year therefore 3-4 next year gets us to 17 or 18) I say 4 stud receivers - we are very short of talent here and the state is loaded. Stock up. Maybe even 5 if we can get good ones. We need to push some of the ham n' eggers who have never produced out and restock with talented players while we have a good shot to sign 'em....and with McElwain now running things, our roster depleted and the state loaded here we should be extremely attractive to WR prospects. Tight End....we have several younger prospects none of whom were very highly rated. If we can get one we think could be really good - especially as a receiver, we need to pull the trigger. Offensive prospects = 12-14 We should sign 2 Cornerbacks - we went light on the position this year and as usual the state has some good ones next year. 2 Safeties will be needed since we went light on this position too in this class. 2 Defensive Tackles....you always want at least 2 in every class. 4 Defensive Ends...the state is loaded, we lost Willis, McCallister and Cox won't be around much longer we really need to load up on this position. Bigger ones may eat themselves into a DT role. 4 or 5 Linebackers...0 last year. 1 this year. We are badly depleted and need to restock. We may need to get two or three from out of state to get the quality we need. Defensive prospects = 12-13 Total 24-27 signees. This is what will be needed to plug the holes the Muschamp regime left in the roster....and its gonna need to be a top 5....ideally top 3..class to get the quality back up at some depleted positions. |

I consider it as the chief source of stability to our political system, whereas the consolidation of the states into one vast republic, sure to be aggressive abroad and despotic at home, will be the certain precursor of that ruin which has overwhelmed all those that have preceded it."
