Message Replied To ========== Any tips on how to find our house cat got outside and is lost? My 9 year old is tore up over it. We live in a subdivision but it is next to 1,600 acres of pine flat woods and a huge wetland. I fear a coon, hawk or owl may have got him but everyone I talk to says not to lose hope that cats sometimes disappear for weeks or even months and then come back. We've done the basics. Flyers, talked to neighbors, walked around the yard and neighborhood at night with flashlight calling his name. Posted on FB and a pet finder web site. Some people say to put out food but others say no that brings coons. Wife saw a big coon in the yard and I kind of wonder, can a coon eat a 12 lb cat with claws? any ideas are greatly appreciated ==============================What's the problem? thanks to all for the tips and prayers |
