But criticizing Billy D? Man, that's just nuts. Yes we had a crap season. That does happen in basketball sometimes. Its happened to Coach K before too. Billy has had really good teams then fall off (think after the 00 national title game when we had a string of early exits from the tourney or after the 04's were gone when we went to the NIT two years in a row) and then bounced back for another major run of success. Did Billy get too transfer happy? Yup. Did some of our stud recruits not pan out like we all expected? That too. I'm sure he'll get it straightened out and if anybody has EARNED the patience of the fans, its Billy D. |
