I'm rather sensitive to government attacks on civil liberties now a days, and I'm even more perturbed by those who find "reasons" to support such attacks.

Now, granted, it's the ACLU in this case, but this is par for the course.  

Now, even if you accept the fact that the Catholic agencies took federal money and thus are expected to support abortions and contraceptives, it doesn't make them government agencies.  The ACLU has no standing and would be better served suing actual government agencies who do violate laws.

 I'm sorry, but accepting federal money does not, or should not, reduce civil liberties of any kind.  As hard as it may sound, but there is a right not to refer to abortion or contraceptives, or participate in gay marriages.  To force businesses or organizations to do so is at risk of being tyranny.

In short, I monkeyed you post because you didn't see any problem with the ACLU's stance on this matter.  I think all freedom loving Americans should have a problem with the ACLU in this matter.
