to those of you who contributed and/or shared the link for my incredibly brave and strong niece and nephew and their poor little baby boy (Parker) over the weekend.  We are all so touched by the support and love coming from friends, family, and even total strangers.  These really great kids have been through so much...all they wanted was to have a healthy baby and unfortunately it hasn't worked out that way.  Parker was born with brain damage (PVL and other issues).  The extent of the damage is to be determined as he develops, but it doesn't look good.  

We are all praying for miracles...one of those may come from his cord blood which they somehow decided to save and store.  If they are able to control the baby's seizures, then hopefully the next step will be to travel to Duke next month for that procedure.

Thanks again for your support and your prayers and wishes.  Sharing this link is a way to help these kids (obviously contributing any amount at all is as well).  I promise I will lay off making these posts, but I just feel like I need to do anything I can to help them right now.
