With that said, the hyperbole against "libs" or "progs" does seem to float on this forum while even reasonable extensions (admittedly, some are not arguably reasonable) against the right get flagged.

So it can be a bit frustrating when someone who doesn't identify as "conservative" sees a thread about how liberals are cool with rapes. That's why I (admittedly) reacted poorly to your joke.

Note, I'm directing this to UFNY because my post down there that is directed to him stands and this is my means for an equally public amends.

Most of us could win Pulitzer Prizes for using hyperbole, straw men, and insults without realizing it; yet we spot those fallacies easily in posts contrary to our views. I try hard, but some folks get my goat, which results in a hasty poorly written reply. Fortunately, these posters are my longtime cyber friends, so I never stay mad longer than it takes me to respond. I hope they feel similarly.
