First, let me begin where I agree with you.  Jenner still has the XY combination, and that won't change. Jenner can dress like a woman, act like a woman and use a woman's name, but his biology is still fundamentally male.

I disagree with anyone who retorts your view with language such as "you don't get it" or "you should approve."  You're essentially treated like you're brain dead for remembering that Jenner is still fundamentally a man.  Of course, it's the person stating those words who isn't really thinking.  There's no requirement that you should approve because someone else demands it.

Now, to the other side:  there's no doubt that Jenner has struggled with sensing / feeling a preference for being female since the time he was very young.  He tried to hide and suppress these feelings for decades.  We know the inner turmoil this created for him (now her).  In my opinion, what should be the point is Jenner can still be a good person -- a meaningful, successful contributor to the good of society -- even when living life as Caitlyn, a female.  As Caitlyn, Jenner can still earn our respect and our admiration for good deeds to humanity.  The world could use more people doing this, regardless of their choices with appearance.  I don't believe we should automatically GIVE Caitlyn respect and admiration, but we should give Caitlyn the equal opportunity to earn it based on his/her actions towards us, not by clothes and outward appearances.

I might be naive, but I believe this is the message Jenner is trying to send.  When we're tempted to laugh and taunt the "freak" aspect of a transgender person (or personality, if you prefer), don't hold back because the PC police said you should.  Hold back because you're thinking about the individual person and what good he/she might bring to your life or someone else's life if given the chance.  In other words, don't judge the book by the cover, as we learned as little ones.
