"Except that your position does not hold up to scrutiny of the facts"

Message Replied To ==========

What a crock of #badword#...

first, I merely provided facts on very specific data points. Of course my post was not an exacting examination of both economies. Conversely, it was YOU who provided oversimplified descriptions for those two states. The irony..

no...hypocrisy...of you calling my position oversimplified in the same post in which you provided an extremely shallow comparison of those states is typical of this forum, but unexpected from you.

And here's the hard truth that no spin...no redirection can squitm around...IF Walker's ideology-driven policies actually worked...then Wisconsin's economy would have improved under his watch. Yet, the opposite is true. The same can be said for Jindal in Louisiana. Both states were economically better before those clowns took office. Argue out of that if you can. Oh wait. You can't.

==============================

Walker cut the unemployment rate in half (well below the national average) while also INCREASING the labor participation rate (keeping it well ABOVE the national average). The only way the far left loonie websites make Wisconsin look bad is by doing "relative" comparisons of percentage improvements in unemployment or "projections" that have ended up being off every year of Walker's term so far. It makes no sense to use relative comparisons in the rate of job creation in Wisconsin when there is little room left to improve because employment is already high.

He ran a surplus in the econony AND gave tax breaks...once again the loonie left sites are trying to count his not giving in to government department demands for budgets as a "deficit" but that is decitful as not getting ones budget is NOT the same as deficit spending (despite Trump's attempts to spin it that way too)

Finally, he cut the higher ed budget by $300 million but did so because they have almost $7 BILLION in reserves in endowments yet are not taking out as much as those endowments are earning in interest. Once again, the Wisconsin taxpayer (of which I am one because I own property there) should not be on the hook for a bloated budget when there is another way that revenue can be made up.

Sorry if it angers you but your comparison is without substance when you actually look at the Wisconsin economy.

Walkers detractors dislike him for one reason and one reason only: he busted the unions in Wisconsin who previously were all powerful in the state.
