That's what you seem to be arguing.============================== How is that different from a new born? Or a one year old? They are not self sufficient and are dependent on others, yet neglect of a one year old is a crime ...one can not just abandon them as a means of one's own autonomy. Newborns are not neurologically mature or self aware so those definitions can not distinguish either. Historically, pregnancies were deemed human life once one sensed the life with in the mother..the "quickening" which was at twenty weeks. With modern technology though, we can sense the fetal motions even earlier. The biologic definitions of life would scientifically go along with very early on in the pregnancy. And the embryo is immunologically and genetically a separate individual from the mother at conception. Organogenesis? That would seem like the best compromise but that would be at about eight weeks...a time the supporters of abortion fight tooth and nail to not allow. Then again, they fight tooth and nail up to the point of delivery ..and it appears from these videos and witness accounts that even if that occurs and a baby is delivered live,they allow it to die by denying medical care so they can have that "intact fetus" to sell errrr..."donate for a fee". The whole industry is barbaric, which is why the procedure was banned in the Hippocratic Oath. |
