So.. we know all these upgrades that are happening..  have been discussed.  We know Muschamp brought all of them up before.

IPF - was going to happen.. but not exactly as it is being completed now.  There was a report that Mac told Foley if it was built in these dimensions.. that he would never step foot in it.

 Dorm upgrades..  we know the story.. Champ gets fired.. goes to Auburn.. makes a comment about how nice Auburns dorms are and how he wish he had that.  (I still truely think he did that for UFs benefit...  he put it out in the open and now they had to act on it).   But Mac apparently had some say in this as well and how important it was.

 Organizational upgrades..  Mac has what..  3 times the staff that Champ had? 

 Here is my point..  was Mac able to do this solely because he was able to use it as leverage?  "If you want me as your coach.. you gotta do xyz."  Or ..  what was mac able to say to Foley and Co to convince them that all of this was needed?  Foley was holding pretty steady that he was not going to get in a "facilities war".. but he pretty much did an about face on that when Mac came on board. 

 Mac hasn't really proven anything yet.  So what has he been able to say to convince that a change was needed that Muschamp couldnt?  Its not like Muschamp asked for much different than what Mac asked for.  Im not saying Mac wont be successful.. so its not about that..  Im just trying to understand what the influence to Foley's sudden change of heart to open up the pocket book.
