Vote for Bernie so we can do away with all the healthcare profiteers and have the healthcare that the rest of the modern civilized world enjoys!==============================

The HSAs and catastrophic plans were the best out there. They were the only plans that kept costs down because they shifted some of the moral hazard of healthcare to the consumer forcing them to evaluate their choices.

I had a catastrophic HSA when I was sick. My total expenses were $500,000 of which I only spent $20,000 out of pocket. (Paid for through the HSA which had a value of $60,000 at the time).This plan cost me $12,000 a year for a family of five. My premiums did NOT go up after I became sick and I had no trouble renewing it.

That plan was made obsolete by Obamacare because the high deductible did not cover things like birthcontrol or in vitro fertilization until expenses surpassed $10,000 per individual. The best "qualified" plan I coud find is an 80/20 plan, with 60/40 for all the major cancer centers because they are out if network. Thevdeductible is $5000. So now, with my wife being sick, her bills so far total $350,000 but I have paid $100,000 out of pocket. And this "obama approved" plan is costing me $25000 a year for a family of five.

And, by the way, the therapy I recieved that saved my life is not available in any other country in the world. Neither is the chemotherapy my wife is getting.

So stop with the bull #badword# about the plans before not being "good". Most of the ones invalidated by Obama were 1000 x better than those available now (which deny treatments regularly) and were MUCH more affordable. The democrats have given us less healthcare at more cost. They should never be trusted with healthcare again.

And Bernie can suck on his own plans, what Bernie proposes = death to millions of Americans like me because the treatmebts just won't be available under his proposals.
