I reserve the right to be incorrect, but there's something about him that has me drinking the

Kool-aid.

==============================

he doesn't come off as a screaming lunatic.  He doesn't run off a whole crap-ton of real players who weren't discipline problems then whine that he doesn't have enough players.  He doesn't just ignore critical areas like Offensive Line which I spent years screaming about on this page - as in "We need at least 5!!!!" - only to see us sign only 2 yet again, He even goes out there and beats the bushes and turns over every stone to find us some more experienced help at OL and LB and QB in the offseason, he pushes for and gets many of the facilities upgrades we were so behind on for years.  We're no longer toxic to stud Offensive recruits.

  The program is already in better shape than when he got here.

“Every man should endeavor to understand the meaning of subjugation before it is too late… It means the history of this heroic struggle will be written by the enemy; that our youth will be trained by Northern schoolteachers; will learn from Northern school books their version of the war; will be impressed by the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors, and our maimed veterans as fit objects for derision… It is said slavery is all we are fighting for, and if we give it up we give up all. Even if this were true, which we deny, slavery is not all our enemies are fighting for. It is merely the pretense to establish sectional superiority and a more centralized form of government, and to deprive us of our rights and liberties.”  Maj. General Patrick R. Cleburne, CSA, January 1864

"I yet believe that the maintenance of the rights and authority reserved to the states and to the people, not only essential to the adjustment and balance of the general system, but the safeguard to the continuance of a free government. I consider it as the chief source of stability to our political system, whereas the consolidation of the states into one vast republic, sure to be aggressive abroad and despotic at home, will be the certain precursor of that ruin which has overwhelmed all those that have preceded it." Robert E. Lee
