even when the teacher, coach, cop, superior or leader may not have handled the issue PERFECTLY. A private conversation at a much later date about tactics if continually apparent is better imho... let the kids wrong be corrected unequivacally and address nothing else tilll that is corrected. Obfisation of the kids wrong with other topics that may diminish in anyway the kids wrong are not helpful in forever correcting the issue at hand... the kids wrong! Moving away from the kids wrong in anyway can easily, and almost always does, imho lead to not fully correcting the kids wrong, often it sends other messages to the kid about their issues and sometimes worse leads to spoiled and disrespectiful behavior problems and worse.... just my opinion of course a a fred flintsone philosopher
