So players were rock stars, felt entitled, had to get private areas of local restaurants, got into some fights - gee, clearly that only happens at Florida- NOT!

I get the culture problem that the article gets into.  But where are the details on how Urban behaved in 2010, how were practices different then, how was his interaction different with the players?  The article only talks about Meyers "lethargic approach to the offseason" and how Addazio became the Mayor.  Was Meyer still engaged with the team or what?  It pussy foots around that issue IMO, probably because don't want to cut off access to Meyer now at Ohio State and spoil the Meyer is golden narrative.  So the article tone has to be kept that Meyer just had a little personal problem at Florida but the players were the big problem, sort of like other narrative Cam Newton <might> have had some minor issue at Florida but is now wonderful.
