"When it comes to penalties, other schools and Florida..." |

Message Replied To ========== More details on Ole Miss' Laremy Tunsil being out Ole Miss standout offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil used a loaner car from a local dealership for too long while his own was being repaired, thus creating what the NCAA deems an extra benefit, according to a report by ESPN.com. While this sounds minor....getting his car fixed and keeping a loaner car too long...his car is an 85 Buick. The loaner he got was a brand new Cadillac Escalade. He had it for months. Dealership cllosely connected with Ole Miss. That Caddy's rental rate is $40/day. Multiply that by months. He's gonna miss several games at least..... BTW, this is WAY WAY worse than the couple hundred bucks Galen Hall supposedly gave Jarvis Williams to make a child support payment - although both denied it and nobody ever actually saw the couple hundred bucks - and for which we were put on probation for a year and got a bowl ban. It sure will be interesting to see what penalty Ole Miss gets for this.
============================== the thing to keep in mind is this (you know this, but others need to learn): other schools-okay or no big deal; Florida-crime of the century; enemy of the state. That trickles down to the officiating. |
