The Democrats still have Pelosi and Reid.  The Republicans still have Boehner and McConnell.

They've proven they can't get anything done.  Their apparent reward is leadership roles for life.

McConnell and Boehner have no idea how to avert it.  Here is a recent quote by one R about his colleagues in relation to their current path:  

“At some point in time you have to face reality,” said Rep. Mike Simpson

(R-Idaho), a member of the Appropriations Committee who is close to

Boehner, speaking about the need to pass a clean bill. “People say, ‘Oh,

you didn't even try to do x.’ There are some things you can't do. We

tried to repeal Obamacare 50-some odd times in the House and guess what?

It didn't work. We probably should have figured that out after two or

three.”

And yet they didn't, they continued to waste time and money on political grandstanding throwing red meat to the idiot base of their party while accomplishing nothing of any value for the country as a whole.  Since they took control of both the Senate and the House what have they managed to do?  I think they renamed some post offices.  They repeatedly defunded an organization that no longer exists. They invited a foreign leader to badmouth the President on company time. They are threatening to cause another shutdown over defunding healthcare for women on the basis of propaganda films so full of lies and misinformation that even North Korea would be ashamed to issue them. They do this with little to no care that it may again damage the economy to the tune of $25 billion or more and they do so in spite of the American people being against such behavior over this issue by a 2:1 margin.  They have created a legacy unmarred by success and are continuing to strive through gross ignorance and unbridled arrogance to maintain that perfect record. 

It's not both parties, it is one party and that party has done more harm to the average American than every terrorist in creation.  It is a waste of my, and every other non-rabid right winger's time to post in this forum.  Those who are much smarter than I am have long ago realized the futility of reasoning with a political philosophy completely that is in fact detached from reason and removed themselves from this forum. I should have better sense too.
