The kid is turning out to be quite the defensive player, here are two plays from last night's victory: Second down, early in the second quarter, with the game still tied at 0-0. His team is the one in white, and the QB on the other team (#48) is one of the more difficult players to tackle in the league (big, strong, good instincts). GC Jr. blows through the line, make the initial hit, and stays with it until teammates arrive to finish the job. First down, a little bit later in the game, GC Jr. this time shows that sometimes it doesn't take gang tackling to bring that kid down His celebration game is still a little weak, but perhaps he is a believer of "act like you've been there before" Mrs. GC's summary of the game is that he came home uninjured and had a great night's sleep. |
