It happens in all facets of life, from corporate america, to sports teams, to families.  For Treon, this is what, strike 3 or 4?  It has been my experience in life that no matter how talented, "me first" people eventually end up putting their own priorities ahead of everything else to the detriment of the team and overall mission.  I'm all for second chances, but 3, 4, 5?  Not so much.  I would rather the program suck raccoon balls for a while, like you guys have, than contiually wonder who is going to be suspended next.
