two tremendous victories in the Swamp will have the Gators in the top 15 in the country. Are expectations too high for a team that is very thin at offensive line and has an average running game? Coach Mac and his troops have been fabulous but until he gets a couple more recruiting classes under his belt I think our expectations should be tempered. 

This team is so much fun to watch and our defense seems to perform even better now that they know our coach will score some points.

I'm just a fan. For 3+ hours I forgot about work, bills and my to do list. My expectations are modest. 

My expectation is that the Gators give their best, play their hearts out, that they are in games and GASP! win games they should win.

I expect these kids to make mistakes, and hope that the fire inducing magnifyng glass called social media won't torch young men who sacrifice their bodies for our enjoyment when a mistake is made. 

My expectation is that the Gator fans fill the swamp, and that there are draconian measures imposed on that group that refused to fill the top of the east stands last night until later.

 My expectation is that the gators win the next one, and worry about the one after that on 10/11.

My expectation is that maybe just maybe  I don't have to sweat the FAU game.

I know that less than 60 days from now the regular season will be over. I expect this to be a fun and at times nerve wracking fall.

I expect others to think about bowl game possibilities, next year, recruiting,and lord knows what else. As the country song goes,"tomorrow can wait til tomorrow."

I expect to live in the moment, because I don't need to draw up plays, or motivate players,  or do anything more than change my shirt or seating position if the gators are not playing well.(really)

  I'm enjoying football again, and that for me exceeds my expecations.
