Message Replied To ========== Gary Patterson or the Utah coach. * ============================== any program in the nation, they will at least match whatever UGA offers. TCU pays Patterson a significantly larger salary than Georgia pays Richt. Plus Patterson has carved himself out a nice niche at TCU and seems to like the area. If TCU was still in the MWC sure... But being in the Big 12, likes the community, and gets paid significantly more than Georgia pays their coachings staff... Yeah, he is not going anywhere... And Whittingham is a Utah boy that has already turned down some large SEC programs. Not saying he wouldn't jump to a national program like Notre Dame, Florida, Michigan, Alabama, Oklahoma etc... if offered down the road... But I doubt he leaves his home state to take over a regional program like Georgia. |
