My father, who turns 95 tomorrow and is the sole care-giver to my mother, broke his back in Florida a week ago. I took off to care for them. The pain endured by this WW2 and D-Day veteran nearly brought me to tears. It took 45 minutes for two people to get him out of bed and he was hospitalized Sunday. My mother believed he would never come home again. Yesterday, he had a procedure that fills vertebral cracks with cement. It was miraculous. He is home now. This video of his reunion with my mom today captures love only God and 68 years of marriage can forge.
