We had his birthday breakfast at the real 43rd Street Deli in Gainesville this morning and improvised by borrowing a candle from the adjacent vinegar store and lighting it next to Dad's pancakes.

I thought that was quite cool until the deli staff surprised him with a custom birthday cake and a card signed by more than a dozen employees. He was blown away. I have only seen the man cry once. He almost did today.
