| Bring them. Yeah, it's hard. Yeah, there may be some danger. But this is part of who we are. I've been tossing this around in my head for a few days and I know it's complicated. I understand why people are scared. But fear is no excuse for turning people away. You pause, you weigh the dangers, you think about how best to protect yourself from radical elements getting in, and then you find a way to #badword#ing do it. Sack up, red state governors. Grow a pair and dig down to find what it takes to do your part. "The homeless, the tempest-tossed" . . . they are the stuff of which America is made. |
