Yeah, it's hard. Yeah, there may be some danger. But this is part of who we are.

I've been tossing this around in my head for a few days and I know it's complicated. I understand why people are scared. But fear is no excuse for turning people away. You pause, you weigh the dangers, you think about how best to protect yourself from radical elements getting in, and then you find a way to #badword#ing do it. Sack up, red state governors. Grow a pair and dig down to find what it takes to do your part.

in excess of that.  We have poverty here in America and look no further than the Democrats to tell us all about that, all the time. Income inequality is a primary campaign issue on the Democratic side of our politics.

We have millions in our country that profess Black Lives don't Matter and racial tensions related to that on an ongoing basis.

We are already dealing with how to assimilate some 13+ million ILLEGAL immigrants, and the term ILLEGAL somehow gets forgotten and left out of the conversation by the Democratic Party.

And then there is the obvious national security risk of allowing so many into America from a breeding ground for radical Islamic terror.

There are so many legitimate reasons to seek a different and more local Middle Eastern solution to this problem, but being politically correct again stifles the conversation about practicality and security.
