I'm speaking specifically about the fetishization of him and how "Gator" he is that many Gator fans cast upon him. None of his actions have ever said that he cares much about "being a Gator". He cares about himself and that's pretty much it. We wear it proudly, are loyal, shout it from the hilltops, celebrate the wins and feel deeply the defeats. He reads the score on espn.com, mutters "Huh." to himself and calls for a tee time.
