I've been around fans from every SEC school (including Da U) except Texas A&M either in the Swamp or on the road. This was my first FSU game. At most games, most fans are pretty cool and there's always one or two morons. Last night there were about 8 FSU fans around me and Orange and Brew. The couple next to me acted like what most folks would consider normal. EVERYBODY ELSE were complete jackasses. I was stunned. I'm now beginning to understand my brother's intense hatred of FSU.==============================

And trust me, I get the history, especially with Jawja, but f$u fans are the most complete set of jackasses I encounter.

Maybe it's because they used to be a girls school, or they feel like little sister, to Florida, and possibly there is that insecurity of not playing in a long time, storied conference, that is recognized as perennially, the best in the Nation.

But even with their recent success, in the last 20 years, they still feel the need to act up, and try to prove they're worthy of attention, to anybody who will listen. It's an overcompensation to some degree, to make up for some perceived inadequacy whether realized or not. To point, the 'Glitter Boys'. I mean, why? Yes we see you. Yes, you're annoying.

They posture around hating Spurrier, and gloating over recruits etc. Even defending suspect behavior at the criminal level, which we all have, but don't often defend with the blind vehemence of f$u fans (Fxxx her in the Pxxxy! Nice Jameis!).

No, there is a deep rooted psychosis that comes with being a nole, and it isn't sated with empty football wins against undermanned teams. They should have joined the SEC.
