Now, we're stupid fans because we believe that the new guy who comes in with that kind of swagger and the reputation of being a great developer of QBs should be able to take a scholarship athlete QB and get him serviceable after a year in the system?
We didn't need Joe Montana the last few weeks. Joe Montegna would have helped. ==============================some of our walk ons at QB and get them playing well in the first year of a new scheme. Chump had 4 years to wreck the program. Coach Mac has had less than one year and not even a single regular recruiting year to fix everything. I hate being patient as much as anybody but it takes time to turn things completely around. This is the first time we have had competent coaching on Offense since 2008. Things would be much much worse this year were it not for the guys Coach Mac was able to bring in with extremely limited time in our last class. |
