I watched it as well for the first time...it's inconvenient to their bragging rights so most semis I know have ignored the whole thing. They bought immediately into the "she's a crazy slut" "blame the victim" argument--I remember they had an immediate story to discredit her---Jameis girlfriend was coming into town the next day, she was jilted, she lashed out because she was jealous she'd never be Jameis girl---hell, she didn't even know it was him until she spotted him in class---most made up their minds conveniently when in the aftermath, she was quickly smeared as a "cleat chaser"---some posted a pic of a girl dancing cheek to cheek with her supposedly weeks after the alleged rape---except it wasn't her! Few know or acknowledge there was another girl that sought counseling after an encounter with Winston, so if one is a crazy loose woman, now there's two?? Many of these folks have wives and daughters of course and they just seem to put on the blinders and toast their national title...I know that no one is immune from the adulation of athletes and misappropriation of priorities but my belief is that FSU is so fixated on besting UF in anything that they are especially guilty...remember the attorney and others had the nerve to say UF had something to do with the allegation going public when in fact she reported it the same night of the rape and they sat on it for a year! I just shake my head otherwise normal rational decent people just check out on this one --- it's a moral failure...whether my school or another rival, I sure would hope people that care about the reputation of my school would do the right thing---how could you sleep at night otherwise? It's clear they didn't--through incompetence, maybe, gross negligence perhaps, but sadly I think mainly because it was just inconvenient to their dreams of football glory...not unlike Penn State in my view...==============================
