We lost five five set matches to one fine and four lesser teams.Doesn't matter much now. We beat a very good Texas team early this year. Also doesn't matter much now. The fine team, who beat us in five in their house(Hawaii ) destroyed perennial champ Penn State tonight. The four lesser teams are no longer a factor. The Texas team we beat lacked Ebony Nwanebu, a tall middle who was injured then.(think Rhamat with 10 more years experience minus a little pure athleticism). Texas dispatched a fine UCLA team tonight. They will be formidable tomorrow. I think my takeaway is this....The Wisconsin team we beat tonight is better than the Texas team we beat earlier this year and far better than the four teams other than the Wahine who beat us 3-2.

Gators should be proud of the guts, courage, resilience  and talent our kids showed. They are not the same team responsible for the successes and failures before tonight. Same wonderful kids, but not the same team. This was a real battle test. They showed their scars, but showed they were ready today. No ghosts, no tendencies exist. This is a fresh start and I think these young women are ready for the challenge.
