Cowardice = not doing what you believe is right because you are afraid of the consequences.

I definitely fault Obama and his circle for not being willing to stand up to his base.  But that's another topic.  His war on terror actions are enough to convict him.  Obama the candidate and I believe Obama the person did and does not believe that we can win this war by sufficiently meddling in the Middle East and Afganistan.  But Obama the president knows that he will to be blamed for all the negative consequences if we pull out.  I believe he was and is of the opinion that divesting ourselves of these military interventions is indeed in our long term interests, but he is unwilling to be the scapegoat for the the inevitable bad consequences in the short and intermediate terms.  So he continues to kick this can down the road into the next presidency.

If you believe as I, and I believe he sincerely does, then the responsible action would be to bear that cost And pull out.

Obama refuses to do so, despite the consequences that he sincerely believes (in my opinion) will accrue.

That, in my opinion, is inexcusable cowardice.
