SCe is like the ugly kid in HS who desperately wants to be cool and finally gets a reasonably hot gf who used to date one of the A crowd. Then he gets dumped and desperately grabs onto the same A crowd member's "what the hell was I thinking...I had WAY too many shots that night" castoff. That's the sort of embarrassment we want to give to the uber-douchey A crowd member up north with the shag haircut and the Vineyard Vines outfits, not the poor kid who just wants to be invited to the party once in a while.
