Since our three game skid, with two of them being embarrassing blowouts, the Gators have been trending downward badly with most, if not all, the top recruits left on the board. Mack Wilson now has Georgia leading, and Burns now has the noles as his leader as examples. This downward trend is unfortunate because this will no doubt set us back a year or two from where we are right now.  The inability to replace the talent we're losing on defense and recruit talent that will give almost immediate playing time on defense, the quarterback position still being up in the air without a decent signal caller, and an offensive line coach who is not only weak as a coach, but as a recruiter as well makes UF nothing more than a middle of the pack team in the East. 

I personally find this disappointing because I had very high hopes this staff would be able to recruit top players that could compete in the SEC. I'm not sure this class could compete in the Mountain West. Just goes to show you can't offer a scholarship to every three star, and backup quarterback, and expect to have a top program.

The best we can hope right now is if we can keep the players we have.
