"I haven't been careless with my government email..." |
|
Message Replied To ========== Fingers are in ears because most of America doesn't give a #badword# about it... how many Americans out there have been a bit careless with their own personal and professional email accounts? Tens of millions at least. Americans care about things that will affect this country going forward (guns, health care, economy, etc...) Now...Americans are divided on these issues, but that's what they care about. I think only a small group actually give a #badword# about the email controversy (for right or for wrong).============================== Nor have I ever conducted official business on commercial email, because it is strictly forbidden by DoD policy. I've seen people fired for sending PII (SSN number, place/date of birth, etc.). I've investigated and seen people terminated and lose their security clearance for mishandling classified information, spillage (classified info on a system not accredited to contain it), and yes...removing classification markings, as Madame Hillary instructed her minion to do in order to send a classified fax on an unsecured line. All of these things are punishable under the UCMJ, Title 18 USC, and federal regulations. If she read the fine print on her NDA, she would have realized that she acknowledged that she understood these things, and that ignorance is not a defense for gathering, storing or transmitting national security information. Do most people go to prison for such things? I'm not going to sit here and say yes, because most do not. Most of the cases I've seen result in termination and permanent revocation of a security clearance. Which is the minimum of what should happen to Hillary. Her vague defense of not sending or receiving anything "marked classified" is laughable. As Secretary of State, she should know that even classified information the appears in the open press is still classified, and if she can't figure out that some of the stuff I've seen in her released emails was classified, then she is wholly unqualified to hold the highest office. People have lost their clearances, jobs, and had computers seized for reading The Guardian articles containing Snowden's leaks. Their pleas of ignorance fall on deaf ears, because they signed away that ignorance when they put their John Hancock on the NDA. As I said below (with email attached), Clinton directing her crony to remove classification markings and send on an unsecured fax is a clear violation of Title 18 and federal regulations. Separated from all other allegations, this is an immediate clearance revocation-violation for anyone who is not a Clinton. And yes, the FBI will be apoplectic if their findings are ignored by AG Lynch.
