I stayed away from the 2nd season --recruiting for a handful of years. When I came back, wow!

It's the fraternity of the miserable here. Really. The funny thing? As in funny /sad? Half of the people going beserkhere  are the very same ones who posted very mean and unkind things in the THIRD QUARTER of the UF TN game. 

Admit it- you guys don't know squat about how these kids will pan out in 2 years. Texas A and M had a top 5 finish two years ago. Yep, they have done so well,

Angst? OK Worry, I won't but hey, ok. The gloom and doom for a top  10 class ? You guys are miserable. Really. Go back and read your nonsense in 2 years. 

I refuse to engage in the gloom and doom. I can't bear the thought of saying "told you so" in 3 years because that means years of upheaval, losses, an ugly and angry fan base, and a likely coach firing. I won't do it, and I will not abide anyone who does. It really is that simple. Don't be that guy. Don't be the guy who says, told you so if coach mac is gone.  

So the reports addressing needs, I buy. A kicker, 2 QBs already in school. WRs.  

Life is too short.  SOS won in year one. Please, don't compare Bama to us. There is work to do, but I'm positive about my gators. 

That certainly was a Hall Of Fame post for sure. As I told someone in a mudmail I think everyone here wants the same thing, they want UF to get the best players that show an interest in us. Some are frustrated to the point that they believe the top players will continue to spurn us and go to our rival schools while we go after two and three star back up plans.

Then we have those who desperately want us to get the best players possible and get upset when anyone points to evidence that we won't get those players. That shakes their beliefs that everything is going to be ok.

What you posted is certainly true filled with all the starshine, rainbows, and unicorns to make people feel good. However others could make a post filled with doom, gloom, dark clouds, and hopelessness that would be just as true.

The truth will always be somewhere in the middle, but rather than attacking each other it would be helpful if we tried to understand where the other side is coming from, then try to show them where their thinking is flawed by using evidence rather than projecting an air of superiority and insults.
